TangoDown Lens Guard for Aimpoint ACRO P2

The Aimpoint ACRO P2 is increasingly becoming the “go-to” red-dot sight for professional service pistols. Its rugged, enclosed emitter design and aerospace-grade aluminum housing have proven capable of withstanding the kind of abuse that would knock competitors out of the running. That means the front lens takes the brunt of any potentially damaging impacts.

The good news is that it can be easily replaced at minimal cost. The bad news is that the lens must be sent back to the factory for this service. Avoid this hassle and protect your expensive red dot sight with our P2 Lens Guard.

The precision-engineered, CNC-milled, aerospace-grade aluminum frame is hard-anodized (Type III) and can be attached to your P2 in seconds using the included stainless steel screws and a wrench. The lens guard also works great as a “slide racker,” without leaving fingerprints on the P2’s front lens.

The AAL-01 P2 lens guard is best suited for OEM “Optic Ready” (OR) systems with mounting plates.

Important Notes:

- The mounting hardware for the P2 Lens Guard is size 2-56. That means VERY SMALL! We recommend tightening these screws only finger-tight. For extreme applications, use only the weakest grade of threadlocker available, such as Loctite 222 purple.

-The P2 lens guard does NOT fit the ACRO P1.

-The AALG series lens guards are attached only to the front of the lens. The order includes only one lens guard.
