Unity FAST Laser Riser Diveboard

The SKIFF Laser Riser Diveboard allows for the direct mounting of a laser module on Unity FAST Micro mounts (including FAST Micro-S) and eliminates the need for a modified grip on platforms with a barrel length of 12.5 inches (31.8 cm) or shorter. This allows pressure switches and tape switches to be mounted on the handguard without restricting the laser’s function or causing a direct light shadow.

The riser’s height has been specifically designed to allow the use of all common laser systems at maximum beam divergence while minimizing stray light on the weapon.

The SKIFF DBAL version also features a DBAL mounting interface, allowing for both standard mounts and direct mounting of DBAL-compatible lasers. As a result, a DBAL laser sits approximately 6.4 mm lower than on the standard SKIFF version.

Note: With some lasers, the DBAL version cannot make full contact with the recoil lug due to its design. This applies, among others, to the L3 NGAL and the EOTech OGL.

Notes:

The SKIFF is shipped without a Unity FAST Micro mount. A compatible Unity FAST Micro mount is required for use.

Tightening torque for direct DBAL/OTAL mounting: 40 in-lb.

When using a SIG ROMEO4T or comparable optics, the laser’s field-of-view restriction is reduced by about 1/5 due to the higher optical axis.
