FN SCAR 16 / SCAR-L Magazine Well

The RCM (Rifle Combat Magwell) was developed for MIL-SPEC AR-15 lower receivers and features a magwell funnel area that is 175% larger, enabling fast and reliable magazine changes under virtually any conditions, while maintaining a slim overall profile.

The 2026 version features an improved injection-molded polymer material and a redesigned construction.

The magwell is compatible with the most common AR-15 magazines, including Magpul M3 PMAGs and high-capacity magazines such as the Magpul D60 or the SureFire MAG5-60.

The RCM facilitates reloading and supports a smooth weapon change, particularly during unusual shooting positions, when using night vision devices, or when changing magazines on the move.
