The Daniel Defense Castle Nut secures your Mil-Spec or Commercial-Spec carbine receiver extension and the rear receiver end plate to the lower receiver. It is manufactured with recesses for anchoring your rear receiver end plate to prevent the castle nut from coming loose. It features a heavy-duty magnesium phosphate coating and is compatible with standard armorer’s/castle nut wrenches (not included).
