The RMR Type 2 features a patented housing design that absorbs shocks and diverts stress away from the lens to increase durability. It also features redesigned and improved electronics that have proven themselves when mounted on Slide-Ride pistols and other small arms.

It is suitable for military, law enforcement, concealed self-defense, target shooting, and hunting applications. With the RMR® Type 2 Adjustable LED sight, lighting control is in the user’s hands. Using the easy-to-operate buttons on the sides of the sight, the user can adjust the brightness, switch between manual and automatic modes, and turn the RMR off for storage. Automatic mode functions exactly as it does on the LED RMR version. When manual mode is selected, the RMR remains in manual mode for 16.5 hours after the last button press. After 16.5 hours, the scope returns to automatic mode, ensuring the RMR is ready for the next mission or task.

All Trijicon RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED sights are compatible with night vision devices, with the 3.25 MOA dot size being the most popular. In addition, the user can lock the buttons so that the RMR operates only in automatic mode. This ensures that an accidental button press does not result in the loss of target acquisition. The dot is small enough to allow for precise shooting at a distance, yet large enough to be quickly located.

NOTE: The Trijicon RMR Type 2 has the same dimensions and mounting surface as the original RMR Type 1. If you choose an RMR for mounting on the Glock® MOS, Springfield® OSP, Walther® PDP, or H&K® VP9 Optics Ready, a Trijicon RMR® mounting kit (AC32064) is required.
