DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for the Springfield 1911 DS Prodigy with 5" Barrel (AOS, 9 mm)

The DPM mechanical recoil reduction system for the Springfield Prodigy with a 5" bull barrel is a user-friendly upgrade that directly replaces the original recoil spring rod without requiring any modifications to the pistol.

The system includes:

3 spacers of varying lengths

1 spring stop

1 red pressure plate tool

1 metal screwdriver

3 different outer springs

The long spacer provides a strong buffer effect, while shorter spacers produce a lighter buffer effect.

The spacers only affect the buffer force (lock fully open), while the outer springs only affect the locking force of the lock (lock in battery position).
