DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for CANIK Mete & Rival 5" - 5.2" - 5.74" barrels. The DPM mechanical recoil reduction system is a direct replacement for the original recoil spring rod and does not alter the pistol’s configuration. This system is based on a complex spring rod with multiple springs (3 springs) and controls the pistol’s operation. The third spring, which is integrated into the rod, controls the movement of the slide so that it never strikes the frame.

The kit includes 2 different spring stops and 4 different outer springs.

Spring forces:

Slide in magazine position:

Short spring: 9 lbs

Medium/Short spring: 10 lbs

Medium/Long spring: 11 lbs

Long spring: 12 lbs

Total force – bolt in fully open position:

Black short stopper: 16 lbs (approx.)

Silver long stopper: 19 lbs (approx.)

The spring stop must always be installed when using the DPM recoil rod and springs.
