The system was developed specifically for SIG components. A custom solution may be required for other aftermarket modules. The DPM recoil reduction system described above is based on a complex multi-spring design that controls the firearm’s functionality. The system comes with 4 outer springs of varying stiffness and 2 spring stops of varying lengths, allowing the user to adapt the system to all possible shooting requirements.

Bolt in battery position (rest position):

Short spring: 3.4 kg / 7.5 lbs

Medium/Short spring: 3.6 kg / 7.93 lbs

Medium/Long spring: 3.8 kg / 8.4 lbs

Long spring: 3.9 kg / 8.6 lbs

Total force (approx.) – bolt in fully open position:

Short stopper: 6 kg / 13.2 lbs

Long stopper: 7 kg / 15.4 lbs
