DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for Walther PDP 4.5" & 5" – 18 Adjustable User Configurations

The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System is a direct replacement for the factory recoil rod and does not alter the pistol’s original configuration.

The system uses 6 different recoil buffer springs, each offering a different spring force (see performance data below).

Custom Tuning: By combining the buffer and outer springs, the user can optimally tune the pistol to the ammunition being used.

Performance Specifications:

Soft springs (0.7 mm wire diameter):

Short spring: 8.0 kg / 17 lbs

Medium spring: 9.0 kg / 20 lbs

Long spring: 10.0 kg / 22 lbs

Hard springs (0.8 mm wire diameter):

Short spring: 9.0 kg / 20 lbs

Medium spring: 10.5 kg / 23 lbs

Long spring: 11.5 kg / 26 lbs

?? Note regarding soft ammunition:

With very low-power ammunition, it is not necessary to use a buffer recoil spring.

In this case, the total force when fully open is 7 kg / 15 lbs.
