The DPM Mechanical Heavy Duty Captured Recoil System is a direct replacement for the factory recoil rod and requires no modification prior to installation.

Designed for high-powered (+P+) ammunition.

The system generates nearly twice the force when the slide is fully open compared to the OEM spring.

This additional force prevents hard impacts on the frame, allowing the slide to close more smoothly and significantly reducing recoil.

The pistol’s moving parts are protected, which extends the firearm’s service life.
