DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for Walther Q5 Match M1/M2 – New Intelligent Technology – 18 Adjustment Options. The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System is a direct replacement for the original recoil spring rod and does not alter the pistol’s configuration.This system uses 6 different recoil buffer springs, each offering a different spring force (forces are listed at the end of the description). The system includes 3 outer springs, 6 recoil buffer springs, and 1 safety pin.

Spring forces:

Soft 0.7 mm

Short: 8.0 kg / 17 lbs

Medium: 9.0 kg / 20 lbs

Long: 10.0 kg / 22 lbs

Hard 0.8 mm

Short: 9.0 kg / 20 lbs

Medium: 10.5 kg / 23 lbs

Long: 11.5 kg / 26 lbs

Note: For low-power ammunition (very soft loads), the use of buffer springs is not strictly necessary.

In this case, the system provides a total spring force of 7 kg / 15 lbs when fully extended.

You are free to try any combination of outer and buffer springs to adjust the pistol’s performance to the ammunition used and your personal preferences.
