QD A1 Flash Hider

The Silent Steel A1 QD Flash Hider is a flash hider designed for mounting a suppressor. The new model conforms to the standard A1 flash hider type. Indexing is not necessary.

The taper/cone at the front of the thread ensures a secure fit as well as minimal and repeatable point-of-impact shift. It also effectively prevents debris from entering the thread.

The heat-resistant O-ring behind the thread securely fastens the suppressor to the flash hider, preventing the suppressor from coming loose on its own. The O-ring can withstand temperatures of up to 400 °C. In Silent Steel’s tests, the muzzle attachment on the AR-15 with the 5.56 Compact Streamer mounted reached a temperature of 280 °C after six consecutive 30-round magazines.
