ACHERON HEXALUG Muzzle Brake 5.56

Highly effective muzzle brake with integrated HexaLug interface.

Compatible with all suppressors featuring a HexaLug interface. HexaLug’s backward compatibility also allows for the mounting of a suppressor with a larger caliber. For example, an ACS E1 in 7.62 mm caliber can be mounted on a 5.56 mm caliber muzzle brake.

If a firearm is used primarily or exclusively with a silencer, a muzzle brake should be preferred over a flash suppressor. The muzzle brake’s three chambers divert hot powder gases to the side, which extends the silencer’s service life.

If the firearm is also used without a silencer, the increased noise level caused by the lateral gas exhaust must be taken into account. The noise level is significantly higher—especially for people standing next to the shooter—than when using our HexaLug muzzle flash suppressor.

Special version for the Steyr AUG

M14 x 1

Suitable for assault rifles based on the Czech vz.58; sometimes also found on hunting rifles. Older Haenel CR223 models are also equipped with M14 x 1.

M14 x 1L

Compatible with rarer Romanian AK variants in 5.45 x 39 mm caliber, the Chinese Type 84S, and likely others

M15 x 1

Compatible with the Haenel CR223 as well as many other firearms. Not suitable for the HK MR223, HK 33, etc.

M15 x 1 HK

Special version for the HK MR223, which covers the cylindrical section between the muzzle thread and the shoulder. Not suitable for Haenel firearms.
