Safe Guard Heat Shield Streamer

The Silent Steel Safe-Guard is a heat shield for the silencers in the Silent Steel Streamer family.

The heat shield protects the user and the equipment from burns.

The air gap between the outer carbon fiber shell and the silencer prevents heat transfer from the silencer to the heat shield. When firing, the pressure from the muzzle blast draws air through the ventilation holes at the rear end of the cover. The design allows for high airflow to cool the silencer and the heat shield. The Safe-Guard is very lightweight, yet impact- and heat-resistant, and can withstand temperatures exceeding 600 °C for short periods.
