Burn Proof Gear Suppressor Cover Heavy

The BPG Suppressor Cover Heavy is designed for 1.5-inch diameter suppressors. All Burn Proof Gear suppressor covers are designed to be 0.5 inches longer than the suppressor itself. This allows the cover to wrap around the front and back of the suppressor to ensure a “no-slip fit.”

The Heavy cover is made from fire-retardant materials used in the aerospace and military industries. DuPont Kevlar has a maximum operating temperature of 1,000°F (approximately 180 rounds of M855). The second component of the Suppressor Cover Heavy is an inner lining made of fiberglass mesh. Its maximum operating temperature is 2,000°F. The Suppressor Cover Heavy is compatible with suppressors of all calibers (.223, 300 BLK, .308, 5.56 NATO, 7.62 NATO).

Once the cover is installed on a 1.5-inch-diameter suppressor, the total diameter of the suppressor with the cover installed should not exceed 1.75 inches. Sizes range from 6 inches to 9.5 inches in length and weigh less than 85–100 grams.

The cover consists of two parts: the inner sleeve and the outer cover. The covers withstand extreme heat and allow the operator to safely change the silencer without burning their legs, pants, or other equipment. Additionally, they eliminate heat reflections during precision applications and any IR radiation during night operations.
