Our lightweight, Mil-Spec bipod, made from hard-anodized 6061 T-6 aluminum and injection-molded polymer, combines innovation in ergonomics, functionality, strength, and value. The low-profile design conceals the internal mechanisms and hardware, allowing it to absorb impacts and uneven surfaces with ease. The bipod is optimized for quick, one-handed adjustments and can be swiftly and quietly reconfigured for different user setups.

In the firing position, it can be easily loaded with stabilizing forward tension without fear of failure or warping. The aluminum and stainless steel components, along with the injection-molded, reinforced polymer, ensure years of reliable performance and durability while reducing weight. Weighing just over 11 oz, it is extremely lightweight.

The leg extensions slide and lock securely with the push of a button into one of seven locking notches spaced half an inch apart. The legs can be extended by a full four inches, from 6.3? to 10.3?. The industry-unique 50° tilt angle and 40° pan angle are controlled via a glove-friendly, knurled, tool-free tripod locking knob located between the extended legs. In addition, the swivel range can be locked at 0°, while the tilt function remains fully operational. When folded, the streamlined housing and legs fit neatly under the barrel and are just under 2.3? deep and 3.3? wide. Anodized surfaces and tight precision tolerances minimize squeaking and rattling.

A soft rubber cap for the bipod’s locking knob is attached to the knob itself, providing the user with a stable, non-springy surface when the bipod is folded. In addition, the staggered soft rubber feet grip a variety of shooting surfaces and can be easily removed with a cotter pin remover. Should the user wish to replace the feet, the legs of the Magpul bipod are compatible with most interchangeable feet from Atlas bipods, with the exception of the Atlas 5-H style.
