The PMAG 20 AR 300 B GEN M3 is a magazine specifically designed for rifles chambered in .300 Blackout® (300 BLK). The PMAG 20 is similar in every respect to our PMAG 30 AR 300 B, but is more compact and therefore easier to handle, making it better suited for use in smaller-caliber firearms.

Since its introduction, 300 BLK shooters have had to use a magazine designed for a different cartridge, which has limited the cartridge’s ultimate performance and compatibility. One of the 300 BLK’s key features in the past was its compatibility with 5.56x45mm magazines. However, even with moderate success using this specific magazine, it remains a compromise that compromises both reliability and safety.

The PMAG 20 AR 300 B is not only more capable than a specialized magazine but also offers a safer way to load your 300 BLK rifle. When using 5.56x45mm magazines, there is a risk that a 300 BLK round could be loaded into a 5.56x45mm rifle and fired with catastrophic consequences, requiring careful ammunition management by the shooter. The ribbed design of the PMAG 20 AR 300 B and the smoother texture of its upper half provide the shooter with a distinct visual and tactile difference from other PMAGs, helping to prevent dangerous cross-loading issues.

In addition to optimized 300 BLK performance, the PMAG 20 features all GEN M3 characteristics, including our next-generation impact- and shatter-resistant polymer, an aggressive front and rear texture, an easily removable, slim baseplate, a color-coded dot matrix for marking and identification, and a dust/impact protection sleeve.
