The set screws are set to our recommended torque using Loctite® and generally never need to be readjusted. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult, as the screw is secured with Loctite®; attempting to forcefully turn the set screw could cause the screw to shear off. We do not provide a warranty for broken adjustment screw heads or pins lost due to tampering with the adjustment screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations .223 PMAG base pad works with any .223 30- or 40-round PMAG magazine. This TTI base pad adds 5 additional rounds to a 30-round PMAG magazine and 6 additional rounds to a 40-round PMAG magazine. This TTI base pad adds a little extra weight to the magazine, which helps the empty mag drop more freely for faster reloading. This TTI .223 PMAG Base Pad, just like all our base pads, is designed to give you the edge over your opponents. We use our patented push-pin design to lock the base pad onto the magazine, allowing for easy stripping and cleaning of your magazines between stages. Simply push the pin down, slide the base pad on, and push the pin up to lock the base pad onto the magazine. Our one-piece design is great because no additional parts or tools are needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is made of aluminum and hard-anodized to ensure a durable, long-lasting finish. All machining and manufacturing is done in the U.S.
