Arisaka Defense Side Scout Mount Picatinny

The Arisaka Side Scout Mount (SSM) was specifically designed for lights that use the Scout-style mounting platform. It replaces the Picatinny rail adapter with a flat mount that accommodates the light on both sides of the ATPIAL laser/light series, including the ATPIAL-C, AN/PEQ15, and LA-5/PEQ. Additionally, the light can clear the QD lever on the Steiner DBAL I2, A3, and D2.

The SSM is compatible with the Modlite 183560 and 18650 housings/lamps, Surefire M300A, M300B, M300C, M600B, M600C, M600P, M600U, M600V, M600DF, Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2, and HL-X, and the Arisaka 300 and 600 series.

The mount is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and hard-anodized to MIL-A-8625 Type III specifications. Includes the necessary screws for attaching the light body to the mount. A 1/8" Allen wrench and an IP20/T20 Torx screwdriver are required for installation (not included). A T9 Torx screwdriver is required to remove the Picatinny mount from Surefire Scout Lights. Recommended torque: 15–20 inch-lbs for the light body and clamping screws using medium-strength threadlocker (Loctite 242/243 or Vibratite VC3). Made in the USA.
