CLENS-18SM Protectors

CLENS (pronounced “cleanse”) are heat-resistant, transparent polymer protective films that are specially cut to fit the lenses of a wide variety of flashlights and weapon lights.

Each CLENS Protector shields the lens from carbon deposits and other contaminants that can accumulate, particularly during shooting practice. The protective films feature a small tear-off tab, allowing them to be removed quickly and easily.

This allows you to quickly clean a dirty light without having to, for example, apply Vaseline before shooting, replace the lens, or risk scratching it during cleaning.

Compatibility:

CLENS is available in six different sizes. Depending on the variant, a sheet contains varying numbers of protective films in different diameters.

To select the correct size, measure the diameter of the lens. If your flashlight is not listed in the compatibility chart, choose the CLENS diameter that is slightly smaller than the measured lens diameter.

The protective films feature a specially formulated, mild adhesive layer. This adheres more strongly to polymer than to glass and can be easily positioned without leaving adhesive residue on a clean glass lens.

However, if the lens is dirty or damaged, the adhesive may adhere more strongly. Any adhesive residue can be removed by carefully pressing the adhesive side of a CLENS onto the residue.

CAUTION: Always follow all applicable safety rules when handling firearms. Lights must be removed from the firearm before installation, removal, cleaning, or replacement of the CLENS protective film.
