DAKA® GRID Organizer for Pelican™ 1700 Protector

The Magpul DAKA GRID Organizer is a fully customizable insert solution that securely protects your essential gear when stored or transported in your existing hard-shell case. Specially designed for the Pelican™ 1700 Protector Case and the Eylar® 38" case, the GRID Organizer is fully reconfigurable to meet your storage needs. Individual panels and blocks made of expanded polypropylene (EPP) snap securely together to ensure maximum protection, versatility, and ease of use. They can be arranged to secure and stabilize rifles, scopes, ammunition, accessories, and other gear. The components can be easily removed and reinserted for your next loadout.

The lightweight GRID system uses compression to secure your gear and organize it into compartments. This keeps the gear firmly in place and provides optimal protection during transport. Compared to traditional foam inserts, which can allow gear to shift during transport, the GRID system minimizes movement and offers better impact resistance. In addition, the GRID’s EPP material does not absorb contaminants like foam, making it resistant to liquids and chemicals and preventing contamination of your gear. Dirt, chemicals, and liquids can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth.

The GRID Organizer offers numerous advantages over conventional foam and expensive, laser-cut inserts. It enables intuitive, modular organization that can be adjusted in seconds without tools. For wider or taller items of equipment, a middle GRID panel can be removed to make room for objects up to approximately 4.25 inches wide. If necessary, the panels can also be cut to size to create custom cutouts without compromising the stability or protection provided by the EPP material.
