Most push-to-talk devices are tied to a single radio standard and a single headset standard. Estonian reservists couldn’t find one that met all their needs—so they built it themselves: it works right out of the box with NATO- and Peltor-wired hearing protectors, switches to more than 1,200 radio models simply by swapping the connection cable, and connects via Bluetooth for Zello, ATAK voice communication, and calls outside radio range. One year in development, field-tested before shipment.
