Iris Diaphragm for PVS-14/NT920/NT1431 Standard Lens. Includes sacrificial lens and cover.

The iris diaphragm is used for stepless adjustment of the amount of light entering the PVS-14 lens of a night vision device. The diaphragm can be manually opened or closed as needed to adjust image brightness and to further protect the tube from overexposure.

The iris diaphragm can also be closed to improve depth of field. By reducing the amount of light entering the device, this allows for focusing on both near and far objects (similar to the effect of a pinhole cap).

The iris diaphragm housing is made of aluminum and can be mounted without tools. The thread diameter is 30.4 mm. Hole diameter: 1.5–22 mm.
