The Alpha-Xi magazine holders are an evolution of the Alpha-X holders, which were introduced in early 2018. Based on customer feedback—both positive and negative—we have developed the next generation, which builds on the strengths of the Alpha-X holder and specifically addresses its weaknesses.

The new holder features a modern design with generous cutouts around the tension wheel. The smaller tension wheel is not only easy to operate but also allows a large magnet to be attached to the outside of the holder.

Improved Mounting Solution: The key advancement in the Alpha-X design lies in the way the ball joint of the belt mount is attached to the mount body. The Alpha-X’s dovetail mounting occasionally proved to be a weak point, especially during strong impacts, such as when leaning forward or bumping into a barrier. The new design uses a custom-made screw with a wide head that passes through the aluminum sidewall of the mount, ensuring exceptional stability and durability.

Flexible Mounting Options: The Alpha-Xi mount offers eight mounting points to choose from—three height positions each for right- and left-handers, as well as two height options for “bullets-out” mounting. A custom-made keyed connection, combined with the wide-head screw, prevents any wobbling or loosening of the connection.

The ball joint is secured in the aluminum belt mount by a push-fit coupling with a large T25 Torx M6 screw. This ensures an absolutely secure lock while allowing for precise adjustments to the angle and tilt of the mount.

Higher Quality and DurabilityTo further improve quality and durability, all Allen screws have been replaced with Torx screws (T20 and T25). A custom-made wrench with both sizes is included.

Optimal Magazine Guidance: The Alpha-Xi uses the same flip-spacer system (not identical, but similar) that centers magazines of any size and fully encases them in polymer. This prevents any jamming and ensures smooth magazine extraction.

The spacer system also features a height-adjustable bridge support beneath the magazine, allowing the user to individually adjust the magazine’s depth within the holder.

Extensive Compatibility: Each holder comes with three spacer sets suitable for all double-stack magazines (except for the very large Glock/HK .45 magazines). An adapter for single-stack magazines is available separately as an accessory.
