The Handheld IR940-18650 flashlight is a specialized IR light head designed to emit infrared light in the 940 nm IR spectrum. The reflector is engineered to provide a good amount of diffuse light and a well-defined hotspot at distances of up to 300 yards, depending on atmospheric conditions.

Hand-assembled and tested in the USA; lifetime warranty; approx. 1100 mW IR output; 6061-series aluminum bezel with Mil-Spec hard anodization; ultra-clear BOROFLOAT lens provides 98–99% light transmission.

CR123 lithium cells are not supported; using them may result in overheating and a potential risk of explosion or fire. Modlite recommends using KeepPower 18650/18350 high-performance cells. Runtime is approximately 120 minutes with 18650 cells and approximately 50 minutes with the smaller 18350 cells.
