Spyderco Para 3 Lightweight

Spyderco’s best-selling Para 3 folding knife combines all the key features of the proven Para Military™ 2 in an ultra-compact, easy-to-handle design. Now, this groundbreaking design takes another quantum leap forward by incorporating injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales and an optimized version of Spyderco’s Compression Lock® mechanism to create the Para 3 Lightweight.

The Para 3 Lightweight is nearly 30 percent lighter than its G-10-handled counterparts and features a linerless, open-back construction with Spyderco’s grippy Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for a secure grip. A stainless steel locking bar recessed into the interior of the handle forms the basis for the robust locking mechanism, while keeping the overall weight to an absolute minimum. The knife’s fully flat-ground blade is made of CTS® BD1N, a nitrogen-enriched, high-carbon chrome steel that offers an excellent balance of hardness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance.
