Double Alpha Academy Alpha-XiP Pouch with Magnet

The DAA Alpha-XiP magazine pouch is a more affordable version of our flagship Alpha-Xi pouch. By using an injection-molded pouch body instead of the CNC-machined aluminum and anodized pouch body of the Alpha-Xi, we’re able to offer all the great features at a significantly lower price!

The polymer used in the Alpha-XiP’s pouch body is a glass-fiber-reinforced PA66 material that is extremely hard and durable. This allows us to use the same mounting system as in the aluminum body. Aside from the magazine body material itself, the Alpha XiP and the Alpha Xi are identical. Both feature the same aluminum ball-joint mount and include a complete set of spacers to accommodate a wide variety of magazines. The polymer body is not only more affordable than the aluminum option but also does not show scratches or signs of wear over time, unlike aluminum. And although it does not use color inserts like the Alpha-Xi, it is currently available in 7 eye-catching colors, including black, blue, red, gray, white, purple, and orange.

The Alpha XiP magazine body offers 8 mounting points to choose from—three height positions for right- or left-handed shooters and two height options for outward-facing cartridge mounting. A key-seat engagement, used in conjunction with the custom-designed wide-head screw, prevents any wobble, movement, or weakness.

The ball joint is secured in the aluminum belt clip with a snap-fit coupling and a large T25 Torx M6 screw. This provides a completely secure lock and allows for minor adjustments to the angle and tilt of the holster. To further enhance the product’s quality and durability, all Allen screws have been replaced with T20 and T25 Torx-head screws, and a custom wrench that accommodates both sizes is included. The Alpha-XiP uses the Wrap-Around Spacer System, which aligns all magazine sizes in the center of the pouch body and fully encases them in polymer to prevent potential jams and ensure smooth access to the magazine. The spacer system includes a height-adjustable bridge support beneath the magazine, allowing the user to determine how deeply the magazine is inserted into the holster.

Each holster comes standard with three sets of spacers to accommodate all double-stack magazines (except for very large Glock/HK .45 magazines). A single-stack spacer adapter is also available as an accessory.
