The Ops-Core AMP Communication Headset is designed to tackle any challenge—whether expected or unexpected. With its advanced technology and configurability, it is the most versatile headset for your needs. The AMP meets the MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461G testing standards and is CE-certified to EN352.

The user-friendly design of the AMP Communication Headset offers the highest level of hearing protection and enhanced situational awareness, combined with maximum configurability for the mission. For over two decades, communication innovation stagnated and failed to keep pace with the next generations of users who rely on high-quality protective and communication technology for their daily tasks.

Developed in close collaboration with end users and communication experts, the AMP headset was designed to meet the highest standards.

The AMP is available in two different colors—black and tan. You can also choose between a connectorized (wireless) version and a fixed downlead version (with a U174 connector or U174EU). The Amphenol variant is available upon request. Finally, you can select NFMI compatibility.

We carry the AMP in the following versions:

AMP Connectorized – with NFMI and without NFMI (NFMI earplugs are sold separately. The earplugs are inserted into the ear and provide additional noise reduction of up to 13 dB without impairing communication)

AMP Fixed Downlead with and without NFMI—For the fixed downlead version, we carry the U174 connector variant; the Amphenol variant is available only for larger orders.

The U174 version can in turn be divided into two different variants:

U174 = NATO connector; and U174EU = Peltor

But what is the correct connection option for the cables?

With the AMP fixed downlead featuring a U174 connector, any standard PTT connector (e.g., PTT U94) can be easily connected; however, this option does not allow for the use of other systems such as Amphenol or Invisio.

With the connectorized version, you have flexibility, so you can switch to different systems at any time using the right cable.
