Hornady® subsonic ammunition—designed for precision and performance at subsonic speeds—is now available for both rifles and handguns.

Subsonic Handgun uses the proven XTP® bullets, which expand reliably at subsonic speeds. The Sub-X bullet used in Subsonic Rifle has a lead core. Long grooves in the gold-plated metal jacket, combined with the bullet’s flat profile and the patented Flex Tip® insert in the hollow point cavity, ensure that the bullet expands reliably even at low velocities.

The propellants are selected for optimal performance and consistency from batch to batch.

A criminal record check is required to purchase ammunition.

Please send us the following two documents immediately after or before making your online purchase:
A copy or scan of a valid extract from the central criminal record (no more than 2 years old), a current or previous firearms acquisition permit (no more than 2 years old), a service ID (police, border guard, etc.), a hunting license, or a European Firearms Pass (any one of these documents is sufficient)
2. A copy or scan of an official ID (identity card or passport)

Or bring the above documents with you when picking up the ammunition at our store.

We will keep the documents on file, so you do not need to submit them every time you purchase ammunition.
